Shula’s 347 Grill is a great choice for date night this week. It’s located inside Hotel Duval in Tallahassee where dinner is served seven days a week. You’ll want to make a reservation for this popular eatery but plan on complimentary valet when you arrive. Dinner starts at 5pm and the restaurant is open until 10pm all week with extended hours on Friday and Saturdays until 11pm.

Shula’s is located at 415 North Monroe Street serving dinner in Tallahassee’s Hotel Duval seven nights a week. About Shula’s

How did the restaurant come to be and what’s the story behind it? The restaurant is home to the best beef money, the Shula Cut. It’s located in various locations such as Fort Lauderdale, and soon in Kansas, led by Hall of Fame coach Don Shula whose teams won a total of two Super Bowl victories. The restaurant is now the brainchild of the father and son duo of Coach Don Shula and Dave Shula.

All of the restaurants have been honored by the Win Spectator Magazine four years in a row with the Award of Excellence. In addition, the Graham Angus Farm allows them to own and breed registered Angus cattle which are recognized as a top Angus farm in the country. The cattle produce some of the best beef in the world because of being one of the most tender.

The Premium Black Angus Beef brand is one of best-tasting beefs due to the highest standards of quality and consistency placed on them. The marbling and natural baste allows for a better taste on the beef, but the Shula Cut has to meet ten science-based specifications to make it the best, and nine of them exceed those of USDA Prime. Unlike USDA Prime or USDA Choice, Shula Cut has marbling, leanness, superior muscling, no dark coloring, no internal hemorrhages, and more. The custom cuts and aging process make the cuts award-winning and unique.

The Menu

Shula's TallahasseeYou’ll find the menu starts off with appetizer options including crabcakes, crispy ravioli, spinach & artichoke dip, and boneless buffalo wings. Enjoy a starter salad and chef’s soup like The Wedge or Spinach Salad before diving into your entrée. Choose from the 8oz Filet Mignon, the 14oz New York Strip, or the 16oz.

Cowboy Steak. If you’re in the mood for seafood, try the Seared Ahi Tuna, the Atlantic Salmon, or the Pan Seared Shrimp. Pair it with a glass of wine, grilled asparagus, and end it with dessert like the Crème Brulee or Key Lime Pie.
